Track & Field News
Track & Field News has been known as "The Bible Of The Sport" since its inception in 1948, thanks to the efforts of brothers Bert and Cordner Nelson. The magazine was consistently published in print from 1948 until December 2017. In 2018, the January, February, and March editions were released in digital PDF format, and in April of that year, the new web-based digital version was introduced. During 2018, there were no print editions. However, in January 2019, Track & Field News resumed printing physical copies, and now it is available in both print and digital formats. The publication offers in-depth coverage of U.S. high school, collegiate, and professional athletics during their prime seasons, along with extensive reporting on the European Circuit. Additionally, Track & Field News provides the most thorough coverage of the World Championships and Olympic Games you can find. The website embodies our commitment to promoting the sport of track & field. Subscribers enjoy unlimited access to all content, including our eTrack results service. We also provide some free content for those who prefer to follow the sport casually. We encourage everyone to explore our site alongside other excellent resources to enhance their appreciation of running, jumping, and throwing. Since 1952, T&FN has taken nearly 22,000 track & field enthusiasts on memorable tours to major competitions worldwide.

While it’s unlikely either format will eventually become the standard for championship events, Crouser’s new twist was undeniably fun.
