State and local elected leaders joined executives from AIRSYS Cooling Technologies to break ground on the company’s new $40 million global headquarters in Woodruff May 8. The cutting-edge headquarters and manufacturing facility will occupy a 60-acre campus at 6228 S.C. Highway 101 and is expected to bring 215 new jobs. The 264,000-square-foot plant is expected to become the one of the largest 3-D printing manufacturing facilities in the world when completed in 2026.

Huntington National Bank opened its first branch in Spartanburg, marking the company’s official expansion into the Carolinas. A grand opening for the new full-service branch at 172 E.
