The Big 12 is moving from 20 to 18 non-conference games this season, meaning the amount of non-conference games is moving from 11 to 13. Another change to college basketball scheduling is exhibitions. Previously, teams were allowed two exhibitions/scrimmages. To play an exhibition that was televised and in front of fans, the game had to be a non-D1 opponent.

Four games on the BYU schedule received official kickoff times. Portland State and BYU will begin around sunset, at 6:00pm MT. It will be televised on ESPN+. The Cougars and Vikings have played just once, back in 2017.

Wisconsin SeriesMultiple industry sources have told me that BYU and Wisconsin are finalizing a two-game series that will begin this upcoming season in the Delta Center in Salt Lake City. The return trip is expected to be in Milwaukee in 2026. I am not sure on the dates. BYU and Wisconsin, of course, met in a thrilling round of 32 matchup where BYU held on to win 91-89 and advance to the Sweet 16.
