Washington Times-Herald

The Washington Times-Herald was a daily newspaper based in Washington, D.C. It was founded by Eleanor "Cissy" Patterson, a member of the Medill-McCormick-Patterson family, who were notable for owning the Chicago Tribune and the influential New York Daily News, as well as founding Newsday on Long Island. Cissy acquired the Herald and the Times from the well-known newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst and combined them into one publication. This innovative newspaper produced 10 editions each day, providing readers with updates from morning until evening.

MONTGOMERY - After a shaky start and a 3-0 Loogootee lead, the Barr-Reeve Vikings scored the next seven runs to secure the 7-3 BCC win, that has been delayed for two weeks due to rain. The win also earned the conference title for B-R. Collin Graber made his varsity pitching debut for Barr-Reeve and Loogootee welcomed him with three runs in the top of the first, led by a two-run double from Rawlings Bell and Jackson Bauer scoring on a wild pitch from third.
