ATLANTIC CITY — A Caribbean music festival originally planned to take place in July in front of the Ocean Club Condominiums at the former Chelsea Beach Bar is now expected to occur at a different location in the city, Mayor Marty Small Sr. says. "If you would've came to the Mayor's Office on the seventh floor or came to the community center in Ocean Club, you would've already known that we decided to move the concert," Small said at the beginning of a City Council meeting Wednesday.

Four Middle Township residents were arrested Friday after they allegedly distributed methamphetamine and crack cocaine, the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office said. Augustine Stesney, 59, Jason Popplewell, 40, Amanda Conway, 35, and Katlyn Williams, 29, all of the Burleigh section of the township, were each charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Stesney and Popplewell were sent to the Cape May County jail, while Williams and Conway were released pending court.

ATLANTIC CITY — Residents will see a 3.4-cent municipal property tax decrease in 2025 as part of a $258 million budget, Mayor Marty Small Sr. said Wednesday. This marks the sixth straight year the tax rate has decreased, Small said. "When city and county entities are on the same page with tax decreases and the finances, the residents of Atlantic City and everywhere else win," he said at the start of a news conference.
