We Got This Covered
We Got This Covered began as a blog on WordPress called We Got It Covered. It was started by three university students from Toronto who wanted a fun space to express their writing. After a couple of weeks, they realized they needed their own domain name, leading to the launch of We Got This Covered on June 28, 2010. Today, Matt is the only original founder still involved, serving as the Editor In Chief. He leads a committed team of nearly 20 editors and writers. In just six years, the website has grown significantly, attracting around 6 million page views each month from readers in over 225 countries. Focusing primarily on film, TV, music, and gaming, the site continues to expand every month. It has garnered recognition from prominent outlets like MTV, Huffington Post, Total Film, Indiewire, Metacritic, and Rotten Tomatoes. With nearly 200,000 followers across various social media platforms, We Got This Covered has established itself as a trusted name in the entertainment industry. As it continues to thrive, the future looks even brighter.

This week the U.K. Supreme Court decided that trans women cannot be defined as women.

On Mar. 2, King Charles welcomed Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelenskyy at his Sandringham Estate. The visit came hot on the heels of Zelenskyy’s extremely dramatic visit to the White House, which ended angrily and disastrously. Charles’s invitation was widely seen as a way to calm the waters, particularly as the British royals are considered to be exceptionally good at dealing with Trump himself. But it seems there was more to this occasion than meets the eye.

A Florida State University student has caused outrage online after posting a video of a victim bleeding out on the ground while she casually walks by with her Starbucks drink in hand. It seems as a society we are becoming more and more desensitized to violence. We see it all the time online and in movies and even in reality. Unfortunately, school shootings like the one that occurred at FSU this week are fairly commonplace in the U.S. Last year there were 83 school shootings according to CNN.

Americans of Hispanic origin should be very frightened right now. If you’re of Hispanic origin, you need to be careful. Trump’s ICE goons are on a hair trigger, scooping up anyone they like, sending them to detention facilities, and threatening them with deportation.
