WHOM (94.9 FM), known as "94.9 WHOM," is a radio station based in the United States that features an adult contemporary music format. It broadcasts from the summit of Mount Washington, the highest mountain in the Northeast. The station's signal reaches listeners across five states and parts of Canada, including New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, New York, and Quebec. Although WHOM's coverage extends throughout Northern New England, it identifies with the Portland, Maine radio market. For many years, the station has claimed on its website to have the largest coverage area of any FM station in the country. Additionally, WHOM provides online streaming of its broadcasts through its official website. The station is owned by Townsquare Media.

If you've ever crossed the Kennebec River bridge between Bath and Woolwich, you've likely seen the nearly 100-year-old bridge next to the 25-year-old bridge. Have you ever wondered what the view from the top of the Carlton Bridge looks like? Completed in 1927, the Carlton Bridge was built for automotive and rail traffic. Since the Sagadahoc Bridge was completed in 2000, the bridge now only carries sporadic rail traffic to Bath Ironworks and occasional passenger rail traffic to Rockland.

According to the park, a Maine Warden Service K-9 team located Tim Keiderling, 58 of Ulster Park, New York, on the Tableland area of Katahdin around 2:45 Tuesday afternoon. Rangers say Tim and Esther Keiderling set out from Abol Campground on Sunday, aiming to reach the summit of Katahdin.
