Chinese turbine manufacturer Envision Energy has bagged a 1GW turbine order from Purvah Green Power, a subsidiary of Indian utility CESC, according to local media reports. Purvah reportedly signed a framework agreement with the manufacturer to supply and commission the turbines. It is also due to service them under a ten-year operations and maintenance deal. It is unclear which turbine models Envision will supply under the deal. Envision has been making inroads in the Indian wind sector.
