    A group of girls gathered to celebrate being virgins and to receive messages of support from different people and from traditional leaders. The event was held at the Jeremia Mdaka Primary School in Vosman on Saturday, August 12. Among the traditional leaders who attended were, guest speaker of the current Zulu king Misuzulu kaZwelithini praise singer, Buzetsheni Mdletshe (67). He is the longest-serving praise singer of the amaZulu nation.

    The Zenzele Funeral Home Soccer and Netball Tournament ended with Asinavalo FC crowned the champions in soccer. The tournament was held at the Lynnville Stadium on Women’s Day, August 9. The tournament was held to honour Zenzele Funeral Home for all the support they made in the past, supporting soccer and netball tournaments and other community projects and programmes. The soccer final was between NSSD FC and Asinavalo FC after the two teams managed to beat their opponents to reach the finals.
