Ten months later, Aliskerov (15-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC) says the defeat is difficult to process. The elements were working against him, considering he was days out from weigh-ing in when the promotion asked him to push back a week and fight Whittaker halfway across the world instead. Whittaker knocked out Aliskerov in less than two minutes.

Initially scheduled for a Feb. 22 battle vs. Steve Garcia, Barboza (24-12 MMA, 18-12 UFC) withdrew from the fight due to an undisclosed injury. "Physically, I feel 100 percent," Barboza told MMA Junkie at American Top Team on Thursday. "I had an injury in my last fight on my eye. Thank God right now I'm clear. Not having fought since August, Gamrot (24-3 MMA, 13-0 UFC) has spent the past eight months processing his unanimous decision loss to Dan Hooker.
