    The Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (AERA) has changed the passenger user fee structure at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM), based on what the authority calls a "user pays" principle that places a heavier burden on international travelers. From May 16, international business-class passengers flying roundtrip from BOM will pay INR999 ($11.7) in user fees.

    U.S. carrier Breeze Airways will add two new airports to its network, including Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) in Florida. The airline will kick off flights between FLL and Wilmington International Airport (ILM) in North Carolina from Nov. 7. The route will be operated 2X-weekly. FLL is the base airport of Spirit Airlines. Breeze will also add Salisbury Regional Airport (SBY) in Maryland to its route map, with flights to Orlando International Airport (MCO) starting Oct. 1.

Auckland Airport (AKL) has pushed back building a second runway by a decade, saying operational changes have mitigated the capacity constraints previously expected. AKL had planned to have a second runway operational by 2028, but in its first update to its master plan since 2014, the airport said a second runway will not be operational until 2038 and perhaps later.
