MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Middle Georgia will see temperatures jump above average Thursday afternoon. A sunny afternoon will become a clear and pleasant evening with temperatures hanging in the 60s before eventually dropping into the low to mid 40s. Wind will be much calmer tonight at around 5 mph front the north. Overnight skies will remain clear. Mostly sunny skies are anticipated Thursday as the wind shifts to the southeast at around 5 mph.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Sunny and dry conditions along with below average temperatures will take over Middle Georgia Wednesday following a cold front Tuesday. A cloudy morning is slowly clearing out over the later half of the day. Winds have been rather strong and will stay that way through the evening. Expect gusts to retreat to below 20 mph through the night, however, as temperatures dip into the mid 40s. Overhead skies tonight will be clear.

A sequence of sunny days this weekend continued into the new week with sunny skies and temperatures in the 80s seen across Middle Georgia today. Skies will stay clear heading into the overnight hours, however clouds will likely be arriving ahead of the sunrise tomorrow.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Sunshine and below average temperatures are likely across the Peach State for the second weekend of April. Partly cloudy skies have been seen around Middle Georgia this afternoon along with a couple of isolated showers. Wind has been rather strong and will stay breezy into the night. Sustained speeds will range from 5-11 mph with gusts ranging from 15-20 mph, occasionally higher.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – An incoming cold front will bring in rare southeast moving storms overnight tonight. A sunny afternoon will see plenty of clouds move in during the sunset hours and into tonight. Rain should hold off until close to midnight. A Level 1 “Marginal” risk includes most of the region. Some hail and a few wind gusts will be possible. With the storms moving southeast vs the typical northeast track, the tornado threat is nearly eliminated.
