WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Mayor LaRhonda Patrick says Warner Robins' homeless shelter should be ready to open this summer. Patrick says The Haven Hope House is in the final phase of renovations. The city bought the building on Green Street in April 2023. Since then, 13WMAZ has reported that the city hoped the building would open roughly three times, but was delayed.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Warner Robins police are upgrading their fingerprint analysis system to enhance investigations and maintain their connection with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's database. The city council approved $44,000 for the upgrade during Monday's meeting. Police Chief Wayne Fisher emphasized the importance of the investment. "Our ability to investigate and properly manage to bring cases before the court could be slowed down significantly," Fisher said.
