A man has been arrested in a shooting that left another man dead in Lincoln Heights on June 4, according to Hamilton County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Kyle Woods. Timothy Shoulders, 41, is charged with murder and felonious assault after Terrell Howell was shot at a residence in the 900 block of Byrd Street at about 8:45 a.m. Howell was taken to the hospital after first responders arrived at the scene, and he later died of his injuries, Woods said.

(This story has been updated with new information.)Sam Beltsos, the founder of Cincinnati's renowned Price Hill Chili, died Sunday, June 1, his family confirmed to The Enquirer. Sam Beltsos, proprietor of Price Hill Chili, died May 31, 2025, at age 88. This photo was taken in November 2012, ahead of serving as the grand marshal of the Price Hill Thanksgiving Day Parade. Beltsos died at the age of 88 after battling Alzheimer's over the past few years, his son Steve Beltsos said.

Four people have been charged in Clermont County after dozens of dogs and several ferrets were found living in "squalid" conditions in a house earlier in May. The Clermont County Dog Warden announced that four Bethel residents – Terri Sprague, Christopher Davis, Vicki Miller and Anthony Miller – are facing animal cruelty charges after 38 dogs and seven ferrets were seized and impounded from Sprague's Campbell Lane home on May 5.
