(This story has been updated with new information.)Sam Beltsos, the founder of Cincinnati's renowned Price Hill Chili, died Sunday, June 1, his family confirmed to The Enquirer. Sam Beltsos, proprietor of Price Hill Chili, died May 31, 2025, at age 88. This photo was taken in November 2012, ahead of serving as the grand marshal of the Price Hill Thanksgiving Day Parade. Beltsos died at the age of 88 after battling Alzheimer's over the past few years, his son Steve Beltsos said.

All after-school activities at Oak Hill High School have been canceled due to heavy police activity on Ebenezer Road Wednesday. A spokesperson for the school told The Enquirer that police responded to a nearby home, prompting them to cancel all after-school activities for safety reasons. The Hamilton County SWAT team is trying to communicate with the person(s) inside the home on Ebenezer Road, according to an on-scene reporter from Enquirer media partner Fox19.

Human remains founds in Clermont County recently were identified as those of a man whose body went missing after he died of an overdose three years ago. The Clermont County Coroner's Office said in a May 16 news release that the remains, found April 19 and 20 in the 1500 block of Barger Road in Washington Township, belonged to Roger Shane Bruce, 51, of Felicity, Ohio. Bruce was reported missing in early 2022 by another man, 31-year-old Zachary Scott.
