The Matt Haverkamp Foundation started in 2005 to raise money for causes that were important to the late Matt Haverkamp. Over the years, the foundation has purchased 105 canines and protective equipment worth over $1 million.

The City of Cincinnati hosted the cleanup at the LeBlond Recreation Center located at 2335 Riverside Drive to help those affected by the flood. Volunteers picked up debris, trash, and other items left behind on the streets and parks in the city.

    A woman was rescued from rising waters at Sawyer Point Sunday morning, according to Cincinnati District Fire Chief Phillip Worsham. Worsham reported that around 8 a.m., a woman was sleeping on a stage at Sawyer Point when the Ohio River level rose, making it unsafe for her to escape. According to the National Weather Service, the Tri-State is under a flood watch, and the river has risen to 59.6 feet. The river is expected to crest at 60 feet on Monday morning.
