Some of the biggest names in tennis, including last year’s champion Carlos Alcaraz, have played at Wimbledon’s Centre Court. Wimbledon Centre Court is one of the largest tennis courts in the world. With a fully retractable roof and a capacity for around 15,000 spectators, it is truly the centre point of tennis in the UK. The current Centre Court at All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, opened in 1922, replacing the original “Worple Road” centre court.
