No matter how one may remember it, there is no romanticizing what happened in 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic forced many into their homes and away from the things and people they loved. That includes the teams and drivers of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour who watched their planned season evaporate as the pandemic took hold of the country. However, by the time summer rolled around, plans began to materialize for a return to racing.

ELKO NEW MARKET, Minn. — Max Reaves knew when he signed on to drive the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota in ARCA competition that expectations would be high this season. So far, he’s more than lived up to those expectations. The 15-year-old from Trinity, North Carolina secured his first ARCA Menards Series victory Saturday night thanks to a spirited drive late in the Shore Lunch 250 presented by Dutch Boy at Minnesota’s Elko Speedway.

RT @NASCARRegional: The roar of #NWMT40 Modifieds returns to @RiverheadRacewy this Saturday for the running of the Miller Lite Salutes Stev…

I got nothing good to say.

#Braves lose 4-3 to the Giants, extending their losing skid to seven games including five consecutive one-run losses. They've lost 14 of 17 games and been swept in back-to-back series by Arizona and San Francisco. They've lost their past 12 games in California inc. the WC series.
