    Louisiana State Police have upgraded charges against a 30-year-old Denham Springs man to negligent homicide following the death of 20-year-old Jody Mann, who has succumbed to injuries sustained in a March 29 hit-and-run crash. Shortly before 9 p.m. that evening, troopers responded to a call on LA 1023 south of LA 63 in Livingston Parish, where they found Mann with life-threatening injuries. She was transported to a local hospital, where she remained until her death on April 16.

    A carbon monoxide leak at the West Feliciana Parish jail forced a full evacuation of staff and inmates Saturday morning, sending at least one correctional officer to the hospital. The leak was discovered early Saturday after multiple inmates and staff reported feeling sick. Everyone inside was treated and evaluated by medical staff, according to a Facebook post from the West Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Office.

    Three Louisiana men were arrested by the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office this week after a multi agency investigation on various social media platforms linked them to the exploitation of a minor. Mathew Wagner, 40, of Albany; Justin Baham, 30, of Holde; and Wilson Mesa-Gomez, 30, of Denham Springs were all charged with indecent behavior with juveniles and computer aided solicitation of a minor.
