York Region has begun making road improvements along Baseline Road from Woodbine Avenue to 35 metres east of McCowan Road in Georgina. The scope of the work includes concrete repairs and adjustments to maintenance holes and catch basins. According to the region, the new traffic signals will help manage increasing traffic volumes and reduce delays. Already a Subscriber? The road will remain open to through traffic; however, lane restrictions will be required. Work will be done Monday to Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained. Work may be rescheduled due to weather.
