Authorities responded to the area of 3600 Snowberry Road around 3:15 p.m. on April 5 after receiving several calls of gun shots in the area. Witnesses told police they saw a man run down the hill before driving off.

A Special Port commission meeting discussed the social equity policy early Monday morning following the enactment of President Donald Trump’s DEI Executive Order 14151. The decision was made to “ensure that the Port of Portland remains in compliance with applicable laws and policies,” according to the meeting’s agenda.
