Associate Professor Tom Hastings teaches conflict resolution at PSU, and said the president’s decision to attack nuclear sites in Tehran goes against the War Powers Act of 1973. “The executive powers don’t include this ability even though they continue to exercise this as precedents,” Hastings said.

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A burn ban is officially in effect for the Portland metro area following the kickoff of the summer season. The restrictions come as Portland Fire and Rescue says they are preparing for high temperatures, minimal rainfall and dry conditions this year. The burn ban includes recreational campfires, fire pits, yard debris, agricultural burns, and open burning permits until further notice.
