THE NI Policing Board and Causeway Coast and Glens Council (CC&G) have refused to deny speculation that a storm has erupted within the local Police and Community Safety Partnership (PCSP). The PCSP, comprised of councillors and independent members, identifies issues of public concern in relation to policing and community safety and work to improve co-operation with the police. They also administer a small grants fund.

TUV leader Jim Allister is the new Westminster MP for North Antrim after narrowly defeating sitting MP Ian Paisley by just 450 votes in the election. The North Antrim Seat has held by the DUP for 54 years, with Mr Paisley’s father winning the seat in 1970. Mr Allister said there is "no escaping the fact there has been a political earthquake in North Antrim of seismic proportions".

POLLING stations are now open across the North Antrim Westminster constituency as they are across the UK for the Westminster election. There are 18 constituencies in Northern Ireland as a whole. Polling stations opened at 7am this morning and will remain open until 10pm this evening. From Ballycastle to Ballymena, from Bushmills to Portglenone, voters now have their opportunity to select their MP.

These services include many years involvement with the charity Vetlife, who provide free, confidential support to people from the veterinary community who have emotional, health or financial problems.
