Police said the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene (Image: Newsquest) A MOTORCYCLIST has died following a crash involving a lorry on a country road in South Lanarkshire. Police said the collision between the motorcycle and the HGV happened on the A70 near Glespin at around 2.20pm on Thursday. Police said the 37-year-old man riding the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the HGV was not injured.
