The Vikings beat Mercer County 9-2 in the first game of the World Series in Oxford, Alabama. The Vikings wasted no time taking the lead. In the bottom of the second, Megan O’Keefe doubled to left field scoring two runs. Then Princess Arredondo RBI double gave SJRSC a 3-0 lead.
