The Binghamton Bearcats baseball team (29-24) earned a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament's Athens Regional. Binghamton will face the No. 7 overall seed Georgia Bulldogs on Friday, May 30th at noon on SEC Network. This marks the Bearcats' sixth NCAA Regional appearance in 16 years and their second since 2022. The Binghamton Bearcats are headed back to the NCAA Tournament.

A hip injury curtailed Ryan Eiler's hopes of racing at last month's Boston Marathon. But the Boston resident was eager to find another challenge this spring. And Eiler knew who to call: RunVermont, the organizer of the M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon & Relay. "It was last minute," said Eiler, who estimated he reached out to RunVermont about six weeks ago to officially enter this year's Burlington race as an invited runner.

The 35th Vermont City Marathon & Relay will take place in Burlington on Sunday, May 25, 2025, starting at 7 a.m. at Waterfront Park. Over 4,600 participants, including marathoners, relay teams, and handcyclists, are expected. A two-loop, 13.1-mile course has been designed by RunVermont. Cash prizes are offered for various divisions, including open, non-binary, handcycle, and masters. The state's biggest sporting event returns later this weekend.
