(KRON) — A Santa Rosa man who police say sexually assault a dog was arrested on Wednesday, police said. The man, 26-year-old Jeremiah Ortega, was arrested in the 100 block of Bellevue Avenue in Santa Rosa. Ortega is facing a felony charge of animal cruelty and misdemeanor charges of sexual assault of an animal, along with two counts of violation of probation, the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office said. According to police, Ortega was initially arrested on April 3 for possession of child pornography.
