MIAMI (WSVN) - An apparent murder-suicide in Miami has left a man and a woman dead, police said. Around 8 a.m. Monday, City of Miami Police were dispatched to Del Toro Insurance located at 42 Northwest 27th Avenue regrading a person being shot. Upon arrival, police said they found a man and a woman suffering from gunshot apparent wounds inside the office building. “It appears that the male may have been the shooter in this case,” said Miami Police Capt. Freddie Cruz.

PORT EVERGLADES, FLA. (WSVN) - The United States Coast Guard offloaded all the big busts they’ve seized at sea recently, totaling a price tag in the hundreds of millions. The US Coast Guard, alongside US Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel, was present during a press conference Wednesday at Port Everglades, where they highlighted an offload of over 48,400 pounds of illicit narcotics.

Attendees saw a demonstration on how a decision to drive impaired could end: their car mangled and first responder using the Jaws of Life tool to try and free them from the vehicle.

PEMBROKE PARK, FLA. (WSVN) - The suspect in connection to a fatal shooting in Pembroke Park has been identified as the father of the two youngest children, according to officials. Pembroke Park Police officers and Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an apartment complex along the 3100 block of Hallandale Beach Boulevard, Wednesday night. “At approximately 7:30 p.m., we received 911 calls reporting a shooting at this location,” said BSO spokesperson Claudinne Caro.
