The high street retailer plans to pull down the shutters in Stockton, at Wellington Square, and in Hartlepool, at the Middleton Grange Shopping Centre in January 2026. An air ambulance landed close to the scene (Image: GNAAS) An air ambulance was called to Hartlepool after a medical incident involving a child. Emergency services attended an address in the town on Monday (June 23) at around 7.30pm. An air ambulance landed close to the scene, with the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) also sending several crews. A Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) spokesperson confirmed that one person was taken to hospital by road.
