A one-year-old baby remains in a critical condition (Image: NEWSQUEST) A one-year-old baby remains in a critical condition in hospital four days on from an incident at a Darlington home. Emergency services were called to Waltham Close on Bank Holiday Monday (May 26) after the tot was left with a fractured skull. The youngster was reportedly unconscious and had collapsed before being rushed to the Darlington Memorial Hospital and then the Royal Victoria Infirmary for treatment.
