    According to a study by Ipsos, Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre is seen as the politician most likely to sell out Canada to Donald Trump. 31% of Canadians agree that Poilievre would be most likely to “roll over and accept whatever President Trump demands,” followed by Justin Trudeau (22%) and Jagmeet Singh (9%). Just 6% of Canadians say they same about Liberal frontrunner Mark Carney. Ipsos is also now projecting a Liberal victory in the next federal election.

    After all of Donald Trump’s bullshit — after threats of tariffs and annexation, after all of his pathetic insults to our country — a large majority of Canada’s Conservatives still consider the United States a friend or ally. This is hardly surprising given that nearly 50% of Conservatives would have voted for Trump if they could. These are the same people who want Canada to become the 51st state.
