You don't feel like a lone ranger out there, its got a group support to it, not only during the class, but even after class we do things together. It makes it easier to face knowing you're not facing it alone," said Bill Fisher. Bill was diagnosed with Parkinson's four years ago.

It’s bee swarm season, and local beekeepers are reminding you not to panic, they will come and remove swarms safely. Jay Ide and James Deming showed off one of the former bee swarms they saved as part of the Tulsa Swarm Hotline. “For the most part, you don’t mess with them, they don’t mess with you, whereas wasps and hornets are oftentimes highly territorial and aggressive,” Ide said. Ide and Deming started the Tulsa Swarm Hotline eight years ago.

TULSA, Okla. — Oklahoma’s only drum and bugle corps can now compete against other drum corps across the country. “It’s a unique thing, it's unique to Oklahoma right now and I’d love to see it grow more here,” Ryan Black said. Black is a conductor in the Zephyrus Drum and Bugle Corps this summer. He’s in college studying to be a chemical engineer, but this is one of his passions. “Everyone here comes from a different background, whether they’re freshmen in high school or juniors in college.

A nonprofit is helping people coming out of the criminal justice system find jobs. John Green is on a transitional work crew with the Center for Employment Opportunities in Tulsa. John was recently incarcerated and when he got out, he found changing his life would not be easy. “You know how it is, a lot of people are judgmental,” Green said. While Green was struggling to find work, he came across the Center for Employment Opportunities or CEO Tulsa.
