SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WTVG/Gray News) - A group of good Samaritans came together to help a man in distress on an overpass in Ohio. Now, that man is sharing his story to let others know that they’re not alone. Dennis Bonifas was sitting on the fence of the Interstate 475 overpass on Airport Highway, ready to jump earlier this month, when the group came to his rescue. Bonifas said he’s struggled with mental health for most of his life.

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - You’re told your donation will send a child with autism to summer camp, only to find out that camp doesn’t exist. And, the woman you gave the money to isn’t who she says she is. It happened to two Toledo businesses. The owner of Hindsight Pizza, Chris Hinds, said the woman claimed to be from an Autism Awareness Foundation. She came into his business to tell him about an event she was holding the next day at the trampoline park, GetAir, behind the pizza shop.

SYLVANIA, Ohio (WTVG) - It’s another tale of growing pains during construction, Sylvania businesses struggling during road work on Main Street. Construction for phase one of the downtown revitalization project began on Feb. 20. Right now, traffic is down to one lane going northbound on Main Street from Maplewood Street to Erie Street. Some business owners said they worry their doors won’t be open to see the beautification project complete.

HOLLAND, Ohio (WTVG) - Religious leaders from all different backgrounds are coming together to build not just physical walls, but also help build community for one local mother. Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity is once again running the Faith Build program that unites local churches and religious organizations to help build a home for a local family. This years home has been selected for Latrese Lofton and her two daughters.

Marilyn Wright and Madelyn Casper celebrated their 102nd birthdays Sunday in Sylvania, Ohio. They were surrounded by family, some of whom came from as far away as Texas to celebrate, WTVG reports. “Twins, at 102, I don’t think that happens every day.
