LeFors had a successful high school coaching career, winning two state championships and seven district championships. Louisville football wrapped up the spring season with its spring game on April 11. But the team that took the field at L&N Stadium won't be the same one that takes the field in the season opener against Eastern Kentucky on Aug. 30. The transfer portal is set to reopen for the spring on April 16 and close on April 25. The nine-day window allows for the Cardinals to add players while also losing some in the process.
