    A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called at 3.09pm today (Sunday, March 16) to a fire involving the Swan Hotel in Swan Street, Alvechurch. "Three pumps were in attendance - two from Redditch and one from Bromsgrove. "A fire in a log burner and chimney had spread to a flat roof at the pub. "It was extinguished using two hose reel jets. "Everyone was safely evacuated."  She added: "Police were called for traffic management during the incident.
