On Wednesday the Superior City FC women dropped just their second game of the season falling 3-0 to the undefeated NOSC Blast at the NBC Spartan Sports Complex. The Beacons allowed only one goal in the first half, but gave up two more in the second. Superior City FC now sits 5-2 on the season, while the Blast are 7-0. CHICAGO (AP) – The scheduled game between the Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs on Wednesday night at Wrigley Field was postponed because of rain. The game will be made up as part of a split doubleheader on Monday, Aug. 18. The first game will start at 1:20 and the second at 7:05 p.m.The Brewers and Cubs are scheduled to play the final game of what was to be a three-game series on Thursday afternoon.

Still I Run, an organization focused on supporting and inspiring those on their mental health journeys, is doing just that at Grandma’s Marathon this year. The nonprofit organization will have 12 runners racing as Charity Partners, with a goal of raising $15,500. While the physical benefits of running may inspire some, it’s the mental release these runners are attracted to.
