BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Angel Reese fans seem torn after image previews from the upcoming video game NBA 2K25 were posted online. The X account @NBA2K posted first looks for a number of WNBA stars to be featured in the game. Among the athletes featured were Angel Reese and Caitlyn Clark. Reese, who previously helped the LSU women's basketball team win a national championship in 2023, now plays for the Chicago Sky in the WNBA.

The trailer features a number of LSU’s current and former athletes including women’s basketball champions Flau’Jae Johnson and Angel Reese, gymnastics champion Livvy Dunne and Heisman winning quarterback Jayden Daniels. BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A woman is in the hospital after being shot while reportedly trying to stop someone from breaking into cars in her neighborhood. The shooting happened in the early hours of Tuesday, May 28 on East Central Avenue in Zachary. According to Chief Darryl Lawrence, it's believed she tried to stop someone who was checking car doors. The chief says they do not have anyone in custody at this time.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A suspect is dead and two people are injured after a police chase ended in a crash on LA 1 in Port Allen Saturday night, authorities said. According to Lousiana State Police, the suspect is Jonathan K. Williams, 34, of Plaquemine. West Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office confirmed the agency that initiated the pursuit was the Plaquemine Police Department. The crash happened around 8:15 p.m. on LA 1 North near American Way.
