DAYTONA, Fla. — The Motorsports Hall of Fame of America honors those who have pushed the limits and "dared to dare."“It honors all forms of motorsports,” George Levy, the museum’s president told WPTV. “Anything with an engine, whether boats, planes, cars and motorcycles.”The bread and butter of the museum honors the history of stock car racing and the Daytona 500. One area in the museum looks back at the beginning of racing in Daytona on the beach.

PARIS — For athletes at the Olympics, their participation is a fulfillment of a dream. But is not just the athletes thriving at what they do best. Angel Adams, of West Palm Beach, is in Paris as a photographer for ZUMA Press. Her job is to photograph Team Finland. “It's actually one of those butterfly moments,” Adams said. “I was a professional photographer for 15 years. I did all sorts of sports. I covered NFL, I covered MLB, and I get to go to the Olympics.”Adams first covered the Olympics in Tokyo.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Emma Weyant will be looking for her first Olympic gold medal when she competes in the 400-meter individual medley. She won a silver medal in the event at the Tokyo Games in 2021. The Sarasota, Florida, native said she is excited about a different experience now that there will be no COVID-19 restrictions in place. "I'm personally really excited to have familiar faces in the stands," Weyant said.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Bobby Finke is ready for the Summer Olympics in Paris. The Clearwater, Florida, native qualified for two events during the Olympic Trials earlier this summer. Finke will compete in the 800-meter and 1500-meter freestyle races, events where he won gold in the Tokyo Games in 2021. He became the first male American to win gold in the 1500m race for the first time since 1984 when Mike O'Brien took the top podium spot in Los Angeles.
