    WACO, Texas (KWTX) - The Waco Fire Department rescued a dog from a storm drain Saturday morning, returning the dog back to its owner. In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the department shared a video showing the firefighter going down into a storm drain with a ladder to rescue the dog.     MILAM COUNTY, Texas (KWTX/Gray News) – A central Texas high school baseball player and his parents were killed when they were hit by a semitruck in a construction zone while the family was on the way to the player’s baseball game Monday evening. The Texas Department of Public Safety said parents Clint and Meghan McCaffety died in the crash, and the Rogers Independent School District confirmed that their son, Connor McCaffety, was also killed.
