It will be shut from the junction with the A823 road to the junction with the B915 road on Wednesday June 4 from 8am until midnight. Fife Council said parts of Charles Way and Havens Edge will be shut daily from 8am to 4.30pm from Tuesday June 3 to Friday June 27. This is to allow street lighting works to be carried out in safety.

    John Bain, who was latterly a consultant at Morgans on East Port, passed away on May 16 at the age of 75 after a short illness. Born in Edinburgh, he went on to study English law at Cambridge University and then Scots law at Edinburgh University, before going on to train in the capital with Alex Morison. He joined Macbeth Currie as a solicitor in Dunfermline in 1981 and became a partner, staying with the firm until it merged with Morgans in 2018.
