    WISCONSIN — A group of Wisconsin bishops are urging elected officials to reinstate a policy that protects churches from immigration enforcement. Bishop of the East Central Synod of Wisconsin Anne Edison-Albright is one of the faith leaders that signed the letter sent to legislators. “Our main message is that our faith compels us to stand with our immigrant neighbors and to be a safe space, a sanctuary for those neighbors,” she said.
