Sunny & Beautiful on Monday with low humidity. Highs will reach the mid to upper 70s. Tuesday will be warmer with sunshine, but there could be some upper level smoke from the Canadian wildfires which means it will be a bit hazy. The rest of the week will be more like summer. Highs will reach the mid to upper 80s and possibly the 90s for the first time this year. Humidity levels will also rise this week. Most of the week will be dry. Friday and Saturday will bring the next chance of rain and storms.

Scattered storms for the start of the weekend followed by a spring feel Sunday. Saturday's storm chances are much lower than what moved through the area Friday night. Plan on scattered showers and storms between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. with some isolated strong to severe storms. The Storm Prediction Center includes Maryland in a marginal risk for severe weather so some severe storms are possible. The main concern with any storm that develops is damaging wind gusts.

Wet and storm end to the workweek ahead of a cooler weekend. Friday starts foggy and muggy with highs near 80 degrees. Rain and storms will move in tomorrow evening, and storms could be severe. Damaging wind gusts is the primary threat. Heavy rain is also a top concern with a flood watch posted from Friday evening through very early Saturday due to 1-3" of rainfall. Scattered storms are possible on Saturday with highs in the low 70s. Sunday will be drier and pleasant with highs in the upper 70s.
