Maryland's unsettled pattern continues into the start of a new work week. Monday's storms come with a marginal risk for severe weather (one out of five on the threat scale) with the main concerns being damaging winds, hail, and heavy rain. Rain chances continue Tuesday too with scattered showers and thunderstorms especially in the afternoon and evening. Highs will reach the mid to upper 70s. It looks like a break from the wet weather will come on Wednesday.

Clouds give way to sun Wednesday with lowering humidity and rising high temperatures to near 80 degrees. Some scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible Thursday and Friday evenings. The highest chance for rain comes Saturday with highs in the mid 70s. A showery and cooler pattern will follow starting Sunday with highs in the upper 60s.

Our next chance for rain comes Tuesday night with just a few light showers. But some scattered showers and thunderstorms become possible Thursday & Friday.
