A federal district judge granted a preliminary injunction Friday, ruling that the Public Service Enterprise Group, the contractor hired to build the $424 million, 70-mile powerline known as the Maryland Piedmont Reliability Project, can have access to over 100 properties in Baltimore, Carroll and Frederick counties, over the objections from landowners. All motions to dismiss filed by impacted landowners were denied.
