    MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Wednesday saw pro-am rounds of golf at the American Family Championship at TPC Wisconsin in Madison. Local golf enthusiasts got to hit the links with the pros in the first year the tournament moved northeast from University Ridge in Verona. PGA Tour Champ golfer Tim Petrovic, a college teammate of Madison-native Jerry Kelly at the University of Hartford, said not only is the community support unmatched, but the course is in great shape.

    MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Five new names were added to the Madison Sports Hall of Fame on Wednesday. Madison East’s Ed Bosold, Elise Edwards from Madison Memorial, Jonte Flowers and Peter Mueller from Madison LaFollette, and Al Minnaert from Holy Name and Edgewood were inducted at the Monona Terrace. WMTV15 Sports Director Mike Jacques presented Wisconsin head women’s hockey coach Mark Johnson as Sportsman of the Year for leading the Badgers to yet another national championship.

    EASTLAKE, Oh. (WMTV) - UW-Whitewater baseball beat Messiah University 21-5 in the DIII College World Series in a best of three series. This is the Warhawk’s third-ever title after they finished second last season. The Warhawks scored doubled digit runs in four of their five College World Series games. Whitewater homered four times in the win. Andy Thies started the scored with a three-run homer in the first inning to set the tone.

    EASTLAKE, Oh. (WMTV) - UW-Whitewater baseball beat Denison 11-4 in the Pod Final of the DIII World Series on Sunday. This was the Warhawks’ 46th win of the season, which sets the program’s win record. Adam Cootway and Danny Hopper each had four hits. Cootway had a pair of RBIs and Hooper had three. Whitewater scored first, with a an RBI from Adam Thies in the top of the first.
