Plenty of downtown businesses also received attention today as vendors set up shop on Main Street for this year’s Sidewalk Sale. Posh on Main’s owner Vicki Bohleber says clothes and jewelry have been the most popular items in addition to many others made by local vendors. “I count on those people who have become my regulars, and I saw a lot of those today,” says Bohleber.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Agencies in Vanderburgh County have announced a new partnership to strengthen the enforcement of court ordered child support. The program is between the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office, the prosecutor’s office and the circuit court clerk. When judges in Vanderburgh County issue non-compliance for child support the sheriff’s office will contact the person to voluntarily comply.

He says memories flood back of fighting during the height of the Tet Offensive known as the surprise attacks on U.S. troops by the North Vietnamese and Viet Cong. “In a pit like this, and there was a crew of us that were probably seven or eight of us in a mortar crew,” says Morrison.
