HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — An Evansville murder suspect is found guilty on the third day of his trial. On Wednesday, a Vanderburgh County jury convicted Michael Thomas. EPD originally arrested Thomas in 2022 for the murder of Patrick White. Officials say White’s body was found wrapped in a blanket. Thomas’ murder charge was originally dismissed, but was refiled in 2024. Court records show that Thomas refused to appear in court on Monday for the start of his trial.
