Austin police said officers responded to a call about suspicious devices at the showroom around 8 a.m. and the bomb squad was called out to investigate. The devices were “determined to be incendiary” and were taken by police without incident, the Austin Police Department said.

AUSTIN (KXAN) — One person is dead, and three others were injured in a 10-vehicle crash that happened in Round Rock on Monday on Interstate 35, according to the Round Rock Police Department. Police said the crash closed all north and southbound lanes near RM 620, police said. Three people were taken to local hospitals. RRPD posted on social media about the crash at 11:55 a.m. Monday. The Texas Department of Transportation said traffic is diverting to the frontage roads near U.S. 79.

AUSTIN (KXAN) - When deciding which homeless encampments to clear, the city of Austin ranks encampments based on metrics such as public safety and nearby critical infrastructure, according to Austin's Homeless Strategy Officer, David Gray. The question was posed after the city of Austin relocated 32 people living in a homeless encampment in southeast Austin due to "high wildfire risk." The camp was near Ben White Boulevard and Montopolis Boulevard.

AUSTIN (KXAN) - A coalition of lottery couriers released a statement Monday in support of a Texas Senate bill that aims to prevent bulk sales of lotto tickets. The courier coalition of Jackpocket, Jackpot.com and Lotto.com said in a press release it supports SB 1346, introduced by Sen. Bryan Hughes, R-Mineola. The bill "calls for the prohibition of sales of Texas Lottery tickets to those attempting to purchase all possible tickets for a drawing," the release said.
