CLEVELAND — Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson will miss the remainder of the 2024 season after rupturing his Achilles in the team's Week 7 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Browns posted a statement on Monday afternoon stating that an MRI revealed that Watson ruptured his right Achilles tendon. The injury will require surgical repair, and he will miss the rest of the 2024 season.
According to the Browns, a full recovery is expected for Watson.

CANTON, Ohio — The Canton Police Department released bodycam footage on Wednesday of 27-year-old Allexis Ferrell being arrested after allegedly eating a cat in Ohio.
The incident happened on Friday, Aug. 16, in the 1100 block of 13th Street Southeast in Canton. After receiving multiple calls about the incident, police arrived at the scene and arrested Ferrell on animal cruelty charges.

CLEVELAND — Dover native Hunter Armstrong has returned home to Northeast Ohio!
After capturing a silver and gold medal at the Paris Summer Olympics, the 23-year-old swimmer landed at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport where family and friends were waiting.
3News was also at CLE and spoke with the Olympic gold medalist about his time in Paris.
"I am just really happy to be home, honestly," Armstrong said.

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. — 3News has learned that Cleveland Browns RB D'Onta Foreman is expected to be released from the hospital today following a "direct blow to the head that resulted in neck pain" during practice on Thursday morning.
