On Tuesday, the Lorain Port and Finance Authority's (LPA) Board of Directors approved a $5 million bond issuance for the Black River Landing Amphitheater Project. Officials say the bond is being backed by the Lorain County Commissioners.

CLEVELAND — 3News has learned that a man has been fatally shot at the Staples store on West 117th Street in Cleveland. According to Cleveland EMS, paramedics responded to a call for a gunshot wound at Staples. The victim, who is approximately 45-years-old, was pronounced dead on arrival after being transported to a nearby hospital. LORAIN, Ohio — The Lorain Police Department has announced the arrest of a suspect in connection with last week's double homicide outside a hair salon. On Monday, police arrested 21-year-old Willie Demarr Gaddy Jr. on one count of felonious assault. Gaddy was booked into the Lorain County Jail. "This arrest is in connection with the shooting incident that claimed the lives of two people," Lorain police explained in a release.
