CLEVELAND — An official cause of death has been revealed for former Ohio State offensive lineman and Revere High School football standout Ben Christman. Christman was found dead in an apartment near the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, on Feb. 11, a day before his 22nd birthday. According to a spokesperson for Clark County (NV) Coroner's Office, Christman's death was caused by heart disease (cardiomyopathy) and an irregular heartbeat (cardiac arrhythmia).

CLEVELAND — The Cuyahoga County Board of Health (CCBH) has confirmed a case of pediatric measles in the county. "The case was initially reported to our agency on May 4 and was confirmed as positive on May 6. The child was not vaccinated for measles," the CCBH reported in a release issued on Thursday. Officials say treatment for the child was provided at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital, including an examination by a physician. The child was sent home to isolate for the duration of the illness.
