CLEVELAND — Lavia Paul, the 23-year-old accused of killing Kiara Jackson near the entrance of Cleveland Metroparks' Mill Creek Falls last week, has been indicted by a Cuyahoga County grand jury on several counts, including murder. According to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office, Paul was indicted on two counts of murder and two counts of felonious assault, plus a count of discharge of a firearm on or near prohibited premises.

Vance Boelter, 57, was charged with federal murder and stalking, along with state charges, following a nearly two-day search that culminated in his capture in the woods near his home.

CLEVELAND — The city of Cleveland has announced that it has been selected by Bloomberg Philanthropies as one of 10 cities in North America to receive $100,000 for the creation of "visual art interventions on roadways, pedestrian spaces, and public infrastructure." Bloomberg Philanthropies says the goal of its Asphalt Art Initiative is to help improve street safety, activate public spaces, and engage community residents.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — Cleveland Heights police are investigating after three females were injured at a Helmsdale Road home, including one who later died. According to a release by the city of Cleveland Heights, police responded to a report that a female had been stabbed, followed by a report of gunshots at approximately 2:21 p.m. "Upon arrival, officers discovered three injured females, all of whom were transported via squad to local hospitals for critical injuries.
