AURORA, Ind. (WKRC) - This week, the city of Aurora experienced the worst flooding it's seen since 2018. The river town was the hardest hit area in Dearborn County. Floodwaters have receded back to the Ohio River, giving the townsfolk an opportunity to begin cleaning up. City manager Austin Woods said progress has already been made to clear debris. Volunteers gathered on Friday morning to begin the process, with about 20 truckloads of debris and trash removed from the town.

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – There’s a new program to fight food insecurity. Freezers at the Millvale and Hirsch Recreation Centers are stocked with fresh, high-quality meals made with rescued food through organization La Soupe. They’re accessible to anyone during the recreation center’s normal business hours. "It has the protein, it has the vegetable produce in there to make sure we're getting the nutrients that our community needs to thrive,” said Tiffany White with the Cincinnati Health Department.
