LARAMIE — Reunited and it feels so good. Wyoming men's basketball coach Sundance Wicks hired former Missouri Western colleague Will Martin as an assistant coach on Saturday. Martin and Wicks coached together for two seasons before Wicks joined Jeff Linder's staff in Laramie. Martin remained at Missouri Western where he was elevated to the head coaching position in 2020. In five years as the Griffons head coach, Martin compiled a 77-70 record.

LARAMIE — Wyoming opened its third practice of the spring to the public on Saturday and with so many new faces on defense, many Pokes fans were looking around for a roster. Following a 3-9 campaign that saw Wyoming rank in the bottom third of NCAA Division I football programs in total defense (410.6 yards per game, ranked 103rd) and scoring defense (28.3 points per game, ranked 91st), the coaching staff overhauled the two-deep roster.
