An Allentown man allegedly stabbed a woman in the city, then was captured after an automobile accident in Whitehall Township. Javier Quinones, 41, is charged with second-degree felony aggravated assault, misdemeanor simple assault and harassment. He was arraigned Friday before District Judge Rashid Santiago, who sent him to Lehigh County Jail under $100,000 bail.

The owner of a strip club in Coopersburg is offering a $5,000 reward after the historic building was destroyed by fire earlier this month. Video posted on the Facebook page of Lehigh Valley Breaking News shows a brief clip of a person apparently running away from the Silhouettes Show Bar at 111 E. Station Ave. It also cites the reward for the arrest and conviction of whoever was involved in the alleged arson. Coopersburg police Chief Anthony Struss could not be reached Sunday for comment.

An estimated 1,600 people lined Cedar Crest Boulevard in Salisbury Township Saturday afternoon as part of a series of “No Kings” demonstrations planned across the Lehigh Valley and the country to coincide with President Donald Trump’s military parade in Washington. Fadia Halma, a volunteer who helped coordinate the South Cedar Crest Boulevard event, walked along the highway encouraging those who attended in the rain.
