    BAJAUR / LAKKI MARWAT: A policeman was martyred by unidentified assailants in an attack in the Khar area of Bajaur, on Sunday. The cop, identified as Ismail Khan, was returning home from a nearby market after shopping when the assailants ambushed him in the Badisamoor area, rescue officials said while quoting locals. The 38-year-old victim was critically wounded in the attack and died while being administered first aid at the District Headquarters Hospital, Khar.

    BAJAUR / DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Nine terrorists, including a leader, were killed in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) carried out by security forces, while a policeman embraced martyrdom in different incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday, the military said. Security forces launched an operation late on Wednesday night on the reported presence of khwarij in an area of Bajaur district, said an Inter-Services Public Relations statement, adding that the troops effectively engaged their location.

    DAWN.COM E-Paper | September 29, 2024 BAJAUR: Nine police personnel were wounded after a roadside bomb hit their vehicle in Bajaur on Saturday. Police and Rescue 1122 officials said the vehicle was on the Inayat Kallay-Bhai Cheena road when it was hit by a bomb planted by the roadside. Shahpur Khan, the SHO of Lowi Sam police station, was among those on the vehicle at the time of blast.
